Announcing WebTrends Marketing Warehouse 3.5
Extend Visitor-Centric Insight across the Enterprise

A new version of WebTrends Marketing Warehouse debuts On Demand next month. This enterprise-scale data platform provides insight on actual visitors to your web site, rather than aggregated visitors, and eliminates the traditional barriers to data exchange between online and offline data systems. The solution's relational database collects and formats the visitor data needed to create detailed, multi-dimensional profiles of individual customers and build collective behavioral targets, based on different online and offline interactions over time and across channels.
WebResults talked with Barry Parshall, WebTrends director of product management, about how organizations can enhance their marketing efforts and gain a cross-channel perspective with WebTrends Marketing Warehouse 3.5.

WebTrends Blog Delivers Best Practices, Marketing Optimization
The new WebTrends blog is barely two months old, but it already contains a wealth of export insight and debate on topics near and dear to the hearts of WebTrends customers — from data portability/open access to online privacy. Of all the recurring topics, best practices and marketing optimization are generating the most of the content from our in-house stable of contributors.
A good example is an ongoing series called Beyond Implementation by Senior Strategic Business Analyst April Moore. As she put it in her first post, April is trying to answer the question she remembers hearing when she was a WebTrends administrator and analyst for a large company: "We've got it implemented, now what do we do with it? Can we trust the numbers? How do we manage this over the long term and make it valuable to the enterprise?" She's focusing on organizational strategy and business processes to help web analytics users get full use of WebTrends products, starting with how to capture the best data possible and ending with ways to use historical data strategically — unless readers suggest additional topics. After all, this is a blog.
