Alex Yoder
Chief Executive Officer
Alex Yoder As chief executive officer, Alex Yoder is responsible for worldwide operations and the overall strategic vision of Webtrends.

Prior to his appointment as CEO, Yoder spent the past seven years serving in key management positions at Webtrends, with his last role being vice president of sales, North America. During his tenure at Webtrends, he has successfully worked to expand the brand and deliver business value to global enterprises.

His time at Webtrends tops off more than 20 years of global business experience spanning leadership roles across sales, marketing and operations. Yoder has also served as vice president of sales for Touch Clarity, a behavioral targeting company.

Yoder holds a Bachelor of Arts in English literature from Whitman College.
Paul Wilde
Chief Financial Officer
Paul Wilde Chief Financial Officer Paul Wilde is responsible for finance and accounting, human resources and IT operations at Webtrends Inc. Wilde has more than 30 years of experience as a financial and operational executive in software and technology companies. In addition, he has held line responsibilities, including customer support, hosted software services, international sales and support, implementation services, product management and software product development.

Prior to Webtrends, Wilde served as CFO of Corillian Corp., a public company offering online banking software and services. He also was COO and later CEO of Spear Technologies, CFO and VP of Asia Pacific/Latin America at Synon Corp., CFO for Viasoft Inc., and CFO and VP of international operations at Candle Corp. In addition, he was CFO for Informatics General Corp., a $225M public software company. Wilde began his career at Price Waterhouse & Co. He holds a bachelor's degree in accounting from Brigham Young University and earned his CPA credential in California.


Casey Carey
Vice President, Product
Casey Carey As vice president of products, Casey Carey is responsible for determining and executing the overall Webtrends product strategy, including the identification and development of technology and partner integration opportunities for Webtrends leading web analytics and marketing optimization solutions.

With more than 25 years spent helping global, multi-channel organizations leverage consumer information and transactional data to drive market strategies, Carey brings extensive experience and a wealth of relevant knowledge to Webtrends.

Prior to joining Webtrends, Carey served as senior vice president of product management at Abacus, creators of the world's first and largest cooperative database. While there, Carey was responsible for conceiving, developing and executing product and go-to-market strategies for solutions designed to provide multi-channel transactional data to catalog, retail and business-to-business merchants. He has also held senior positions at other top consumer data and marketing companies, including Customer Insight Company, Experian, ROI Direct, MatchLogic and Peak Effects. Carey regularly shares his expertise in database marketing, campaign management, e-commerce and Internet marketing through frequent speaking engagements at industry conferences and events.

Carey holds an MBA from Regis University and a bachelor of science in electrical engineering from DeVry University.
Michael Gear
Vice President of Sales, North America
Michael Gear As vice president of sales, Michael Gear is responsible for directing sales operations and solution engineering to expand the Webtrends brand and develop successful customer relationships in North America.

Gear brings to Webtrends extensive expertise in matching solutions to customer needs in the online marketing optimization, content management and content delivery industries--skills honed during a 14-year career driving sales for leading software companies such as Context Media and Riverton Software Corp. He was also a principal member of the Akamai sales team.

Prior to his appointment as vice president of sales, Gear oversaw national field sales efforts for Webtrends, successfully managing interactions with numerous Fortune 1000 companies such as The New York Times, Monster Worldwide, McGraw Hill, Reuters and Priceline.

Gear holds a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Colorado at Boulder.


Dave Canelis
Vice President, Global Services
Dave Canelis As vice president of global services, Dave Canelis drives the industry-leading client services team at Webtrends. Under Canelis' guidance, this seasoned team uses proven methodologies to provide web analytics services at every stage of the customer partnership, from professional services and consulting, to technical support, education and training.

Canelis brings more than 25 years of services leadership experience to Webtrends. Throughout his career, he has created best-in-class professional services, customer support and training programs for many of the nation's top enterprise software companies.

Prior to joining Webtrends, Canelis served as vice president of professional services at Serena Software, a leading provider of enterprise application lifecycle software. He also has held senior leadership positions at Oracle, Gupta Corp. and Oblix.

Canelis holds an MBA from Santa Clara University and a bachelor's degree in computer science and mathematics from California State University at Hayward.

Bruce Kenny
Vice President of Engineering and Hosted Operations
Bruce Kenny As vice president of engineering and hosted operations, Bruce Kenny oversees the On-Demand (SaaS) and On-Premise software solutions operations at Webtrends.

With more than 20 years of working in all facets of the software business, including sales, marketing, service and software development, Kenny brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to the company.

Prior to joining Webtrends, he led the engineering and hosted operations team at Infopia Inc., an e-commerce solution company. Kenny also served as senior vice president of products for Pivotal Corp. and as general manager and vice president at Simba Technologies Inc., the pioneer in standards-based data connectivity.


James McDermott
Vice President, Partnerships and General Counsel
James McDermott James McDermott, vice president, partnerships and general counsel, is responsible for Webtrends strategic partnerships, business development, and all Webtrends legal functions including corporate governance, securities, mergers and acquisitions and intellectual property.

Prior to joining Webtrends, McDermott served as a corporate and securities attorney at Ater Wynne LLP and Brobeck Phleger & Harrison LLP. He is also an adjunct professor at Portland State University's Graduate School of Business.

McDermott holds a BA from University of California, Irvine and J.D. from University of California, Hastings College of the Law. He is admitted to practice law in Oregon and California.
Nick Sharp
Vice President and General Manager, EMEA
Nick Sharp As Vice President and General Manager of EMEA, Nick Sharp is responsible for Webtrends EMEA and Australasia strategy and day-to-day operations, including sales and marketing as well as technical support, training, implementation and business consulting services. Prior to being named General Manager, Nick served as Webtrends Vice President of EMEA Sales and Marketing for several years. In this role, he led EMEA's most experienced sales and marketing teams in the web analytics industry, developing deep industry expertise across key markets and building strategic relationships with many of the region's leading clients.

Nick has 18 years experience in established and start-up technology organizations and was EMEA Sales Director at InfoLibria Inc., where he was responsible for defining, developing and executing sales strategies. Nick was also Group Sales Director at Tricom Communications and has held positions at Riversoft, Micom and CASE Communications. He has a BSc in Electronic and Electrical Engineering from Loughborough University, UK.


Dean Kimball
Vice President and General Manager, Optimize
Dean Kimball Dean brings over 25 years experience in product and technology management to Webtrends. During his career, Dean has developed systems for digital marketing, secure messaging, network management and enterprise data integration including several SAAS applications. As the co-founder and CTO of Widemile, Dean recognized the need for online optimization solutions and created the application that is now Webtrends Optimize. As Senior Vice President of Products and Strategy at TeamOn.com he managed the product development groups that built the innovative enterprise messaging solutions later acquired by Research in Motion. Prior to TeamOn, Dean was CTO & Senior VP of Products at Attachmate Corporation, where he managed over 500 people in seven cities. Dean also played a major role in developing early application server technologies at IBM Corporation and was a key member of the US West Network Systems team that developed the world's first graphical network management system.
Denise Tarantino
Vice President and General Manager, Ad Director
Nick Sharp Denise Tarantino leads Ad Director business where she is responsible for the growth and direction of the SEM optimization services and software. Prior to joining Webtrends she established Efficient Frontier's account development team in New York where she was responsible for executing search marketing strategies for a large portfolio of accounts.

Prior to joining Efficient Frontier in 2006, she led the client services, account management and development teams for enterprise solutions at USADATA. Before that, Tarantino worked at Abacus Direct, a division of DoubleClick, where she led the merchandise service teams responsible for delivering retail and multi-channel database solutions. Her background includes working for major specialty retailers as vice president of marketing.

Tarantino has a BA from Kutztown University, certificate in marketing management from Penn State and certificate in Lean Six Sigma from Villanova University.
