Our Ad Director team delivers the industry's most sophisticated Search Engine Marketing (SEM) solution, providing clients with an automated approach to managing their paid search advertising efforts. The Webtrends Ad Director team is currently recruiting a Manager of SEM Client Services to continue our legacy of delivering superior customer care and performance results to customers.

Who we are looking for:

Webtrends is looking for an experienced digital marketing professional to lead the Ad Director Client Services team. This individual will report to the GM and will be responsible establishing and maintaining an efficient Client Services organization within the Ad Director offering. Responsibilities include the following:

  • Manage all operational aspects of the Client Services team to ensure clients' business objectives are met. Operational aspects are defined as: staffing, project and task assignments, priority setting, team development, quarterly client reviews, technology decisions and direction, and status reporting in addition to handling day-to-day escalations.
  • Collaborate with the Sales, Product and Engineering groups to ensure the Account Management resources during pre-sale, launch and operation of the accounts.
  • Deliver continuous feedback to the Product team for product enhancements and provide guidance for devising an effective strategy for the clients' digital marketing initiatives.
  • Share insight into Ad Director's clients on growth opportunities and challenges related to client's digital marketing initiatives keeping in view client's competitive landscape and market trends.
  • Identify, plan and implement processes and tools to ensure a scalable group that delivers to the service level agreement committed to clients.
  • Provide technical oversight to ensure architectural compatibility, plan and execute tasks, manage, mentor and motivate a talented team of Account Managers and Specialists.

Requirements:
  • BA from an accredited school.
  • 5-10 years of interactive media industry experience, Marketing/Communications or sales exposure or Client Management.
  • SEM, SEO, Social Media and Digital Marketing expertise.
  • Consultative ability to assist customer in identifying their requirements and present recommendations on the most appropriate solutions.
  • Strong presentation and writing skills for client meetings, proposals and technical/business.
  • Established track record of persuading clients for complex technical and business proposals during pre-launch and post launch phases.
  • Self-sufficient to be technically conversant with key client technical personnel.
  • Management skills to effectively:
    • Coordinate company resources to provide prompt, appropriate response to customer requirements.
    • Recruit, acquire, and develop high caliber individuals and lead a high performance team.
  • A responsible team player with positive attitude, a high degree of personal integrity and a strong work ethic are essential.

Working Conditions:
  • This position works in an office environment with some travel required.
  • This position is located at the company's San Bruno, CA office.
  • Incumbent must pass background check.
